To join please fill out and return the membership form.

Membership is now £5 for all members. There is no difference for postal members. Membership is open to all local residents, allotment holders, and gardeners.

Benefits include:

  • Two Shows each year held in the Scout HQ off Grimsdyke Road. The Summer Show at the end of June includes classes for flowers, pot plants, fruit, vegetables, flower decoration. Separate classes are included for children, novices and photography. The Autumn Show in mid-September includes similar seasonal classes to the Summer Show together with classes for jams, chutneys, and cakes.
  • Six Talks each year – four in the winter evenings at the Hatch End Baptist Church in Rowlands Ave, Hatch End HA5 4DF and two in the Spring with guest speakers presenting illustrated talks on a wide range of gardening topics. Non-members are welcome to come to the talks. A charge of £3 per member (£4 for non-members) is made to include tea and biscuits. We ask attendees to bring their own cups.
  • Various social events throughout the year, including visits to famous gardens, a coffee morning at a member’s garden and a light-hearted Quiz Supper in the autumn.
  • Plant stalls selling a wide variety of seasonal plants etc are included at the May Talk, the two Shows and at the Coffee Morning.
